You............

Whenever I am happy, I think of you,
Whenever I am cheery, I think of you,
Whenever I feel like flying high with joy,
The only one I think of
Is You
Whenever I am lonely, I think of you,
Whenever I am sad, I think of you,
Whenever I just want to cry and cry,
The only one I think of
Is You
Whenever I am scared, I think of you,
Whenever I am dejected, I think of you,
Whenever I need a comforting hand,
The only one I think of
Is You
Do you know why?
Ill tell you why
You see even though,
In my heart I know,
You are not perfect
Even though,
In my heart I know,
You do make mistakes
And even though,
In my heart I know,
At times I feel angry for it
I still
Love you very much
I still
Want to be like you
I still
Need your approval for all I do
Because you are,
One of the few,
I hold near to my heart,
I hold dear to my heart,
So
Whenever I do anything,
The only one who matters
Is YOU!

The Businessman.............

He stands there all alone,
His eyes look so much pained,
He is a tough, strong man,
But in his life, up until now, what has he gained…?
He had the children he so, so wanted,
Their mother he so much loved,
He wanted to put the world at their feet,
But now, away he had been shoved…
He had a dream,
He saw their future bright,
For this he forgot himself,
For them, worked day and night…
He gave them all they asked for,
A lot, that they didn’t,
And he turned himself into a machine,
Careless of the warnings he was bidden…
Ceaselessly he labored,
Without an end he worked,
He shut the mouths of those,
At his failure, who had smirked…
For he did not want his children,
To see any kind of regret,
To have any kind of complex,
Secure and safe, he wanted them to get…
Now that they had grown up,
So confident they are,
But he is being blamed,
What has he done for this mutiny to start…?
He loved them beyond words,
He had done all he could,
And he until he has the stamina,
He certainly, surely would…
But now he simply stands there,
Trying to figure it out,
He is erupting inside,
And he can’t even shout…!
He thinks, I gave them so much,
I loved them to the end,
Was my fault the fact,
Birthday cards I forgot to send…?
Those I love so much, stand there together,
They stand so close,
Yet I can’t touch them,
So true is this prose…
When I began I was alone,
I worked day and night for you,
Now when it’s my turn for getting, my turn to obtain,
I find that like all the others, you have left me too…

One Day More.........

Her hair was black,
Her eyes so brown,
Her face showed exertion,
Her lips just frowned,
Her steps staggered,
And when she spoke to the conductor,
Her voice so stammered,
Do you know what she does?
Do you know who she is?
Well, she is one of the many,
Who work for every dime, every penny,
She has to be careful though,
Not one step can be wrong,
For then would be sung,
Everywhere her actions song,
Her life would become hell,
(If already it is not!)
She could be destroyed,
But who with fate, has ever fought?
Why do you think she does it all?
What do you think she gets from it?
Well, when she goes home,
When her sibling opens the door,
That little innocent smile prepares her,
For one day more

stolen.......

Two childern played in dirt
While they picked in the garbage
For food
For plastic
For anything worthy...
On the other side of the road
stood a tall thin man
Silently
Quietly
Motionless
Sturdy...
Infront of him
A bank
So many people
They came and left
Done with their work
Satisfied...
The man looked at the board
A strange expresion
Engrved
Fixed
On his dirty, black face...
A small old lady
Left the bank
Her purse held loosely
The zip half open
The money clearly visable...
The man started to move
The old lady crossed the road
They colided
She fell
He helped her up...
The lady walked away
He turned
Triumph
On his face
Hands
In his pockets...
Two childern played in dirt
While they picked in the garbage
For food
For money
For anything worthy...
